BSR is proud to offer coverage for Tenant Discrimination Liability. Lawsuits for housing discrimination can come from practically any violation of the Fair Housing Act. This coverage offers protection to property owners and managers against claims of wrongful discrimination by current tenants, prospective tenants or former tenants. The insurance coverage included property owners of commercial or residential property and condominium associations. Other coverage highlights are punitive damages where permissible by law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, class action lawsuits, claims brought by HUD or similar local authorities, public relations expenses equal to 2.5% of policy limit, expenses and damages.
